Packaging as per requirement
High, medium and low carbon ferro manganese. High carbon typically runs 65-75% Mn with 6-8% carbon, medium carbon 1-2%, and low carbon down to around 0.1-0.7% carbon. Silicon, phosphorus and sulphur limits are set to your specification.
It follows from your carbon ceiling. High carbon ferro manganese is the cheapest source of manganese units and suits most structural and carbon steels. If your grade caps carbon tightly, or you are making a low carbon steel without decarburisation capacity, you need the medium or low carbon grade.
Ferro manganese carries more manganese, around 74-82%, and almost no silicon. Silico manganese carries 60-70% manganese plus 14-20% silicon, and considerably less carbon. Choose ferro manganese when your silicon ceiling is tight or the manganese addition is large.
Commonly 10-50 mm and 10-80 mm, crushed to other fractions on request. A maximum fines percentage is stated on every contract, because sizing on arrival affects your recovery as much as chemistry does.
Usually in 1 MT jumbo bags, and in bulk for larger shipments. Packing, marking and palletisation are agreed at order stage to suit your destination port and handling arrangements.
Yes. Every consignment ships with a test certificate carrying lot numbers and the full analysis, traceable to the delivered material. Independent third-party inspection can be arranged where your contract requires it.
